It is with deep sadness that we inform you of the loss of Conner Wilson, a dear friend and valued colleague from Longview, TX. Conner’s life was tragically taken in a pipeline accident last Tuesday at the young age of 32. We not only grieve the passing of a tremendous individual, but also for the enduring loss his family faces. There are no words that adequately express our feelings.
Conner led by example, through Christ. Kind-hearted and caring by nature, Conner was one of the finest husbands and fathers we have ever been privileged to call a friend. Hortenstine Ranch Company is a tightly knit extended family and Conner was an integral part of our professional enjoyment and success. His deep love — for God, his wife Kristin and four children (who were often with him on ranch tours), extended family, and the Texas outdoors — was evident to anyone who knew him. He graduated from Texas A&M University and received his masters at Texas A&M University Kingsville. He will be greatly missed by all.
If you feel led to help support The Wilson Family, a time-sensitive fundraising campaign expiring Sunday, September 7th has been established to aid Conner’s immediate family. For information on how to donate, please visit Support for Kristin and Her Family.
With Respect and Heavy Hearts,
Hortenstine Ranch Company, LLC
