Rainbo Club is located approximately 1 1/2 hours from Dallas in a quiet, easy to get to area. The club offers exceptional bass fishing and whitetail deer hunting opportunities. The land is beautiful with miles of maintained trails weaving through towering pines and hardwoods, flowing springs, wetlands and upland meadows. All member homes can all be found on the shores of Rainbo lake in private settings with paved access. The manager lives on-site near the entrance, shop and equipment. A management team is in place and will assist members with most requests, making this a very low maintenance and hassle free situation. The club is set up perfectly to accomodate member families and their enjoyment of the property.
The club consists of two private lakes (Rainbo and Alder) that are both professionally managed to create exceptional bass fisheries. Rainbo Lake is approximately 158.69+/-acres and is the centerpiece of the property. Member homes can all be found on the shores of Rainbo Lake. Alder Lake is approximately 36.95+/- acres and has a brood pond adjacent to it. Both lakes are fed by numerous springs and have exceptional color and clarity. Both lakes are managed by a licensed biologist.
The main portion of Rainbo is high fenced which encompasses ~1,220+ acres of exceptional forage and native habitat. It is managed under the state’s Managed Land Deer Program. Numerous 150+ class whitetail deer were harvested during the 2024 season. The club produces an annual hunting report which includes a list of whitetail deer that are ready to be harvested. The club has employed a successful deer management program over the last 10 years with impressive results. Numerous strides of improvement have been taken each year since the club began with their deer management program. There are 10 three person box blinds along with 15 food plots as well as corn and protein feeders at most blinds. A copy of the most recent annual report can be provided to interested and qualified parties.
The club also presents excellent opportunities for wintering waterfowl for the avid duck hunter. The back waters of each lake have exceptional habitat to attract waterfowl each year. There are 5 duck blinds in place and ready to use. In addition to whitetail deer and ducks, there are feral hogs, songbirds and a variety of varmints.

The main house is approximately 2,671 square feet and consists of 3 bedrooms and 3 baths. It went through an extensive remodel in 2018. It sits on an elevated hilltop, surrounded by towering pine trees, offering gorgeous views of Rainbo Lake. A wrap around porch (approx. 1842 sf) with hot tub as well as a fire pit offer great places to sit outside and take in the beauty of East Texas. The house and all improvements are serviced by a water well (recently replaced), that is shared with 4 additional Rainbo Club members.
The guest cabin is approximately 619 square feet and consists of a small kitchen, 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. The guest cabin is between the house and garage.
A 2.5 car garage/shop (659 sf) is located next to the guest cabin and house, which is a great place to store equipment, vehicles and fishing gear. The shop is a wood structured building on a concrete slab that was built in 2019.
A covered boat dock with two boat slips and a large fishing deck sits just below the house on Rainbo Lake. The boat dock was built in 2019 and is an short walk down the hill from the house.
A communal boat house sits on the northside of Alder Lake. Each membership includes one boat slip.
A ~400-yard gun range is located on the south side of CR 4520 away from the club and its improvements. This is a great area to work on your marksmanship, sight in your deer rifle or shoot pistols.

Property taxes for 2024 were approxiately $6,214.68 per Henderson County Tax Assessor.
Acceptance into the club will be a contingency in any contract. Rainbo Club, Inc. and its members will have the final approval on any new membership opportunity. All members are subject to monthly dues, as well as abiding by the club bylaws.
The Buyer’s Agent/Broker must be identified upon first contact with the Listing Broker/Listing Agent, and the Buyer’s Agent/Broker must be present at the initial property tour in order to participate in the real estate commission. From the Athens Loop, take Highway 19 south for approximately 1.1 miles. Turn left onto FM 1615 and travel for approximately 6.8 miles until you reach CR 4520. Travel approximately 1.4 miles until you reach the club entrance on the left side of the road.
