Ranch Gathering 2024 Feature Image

Date is Set for HRC’s Annual Client Ranch Gathering

Hortenstine Ranch Company (HRC) is excited to announce its annual ranch gathering for clients will be held at the WHH Ranch in Anderson County, just outside of Bradford, Texas. This exclusive event is open to our current client base on a first-come, first-served basis. WHH Ranch, a unique and productive recreational property, was listed and sold by HRC several years ago. Since then, the new owner has made remarkable improvements, turning it into an exemplary property in East Texas.

Vision Forestry

With the diligent efforts of the owner and collaboration with professionals like Chris Adams from Vision Forestry, WHH Ranch has reached new heights in land management. The property showcases meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to land stewardship, featuring majestic stands of marketable timber, exquisitely managed habitats, and a meticulously constructed lake. WHH stands as the ultimate destination for discerning sportsmen.

This year’s gathering will highlight the extensive work and improvements made over the past few years, serving as an invaluable learning tool for attendees. Instead of discussing theoretical scenarios, participants will have the opportunity to witness the tangible results of effective land management and engage with the professionals who made it possible. Topics of discussion will include timber stand improvement, prescribed fire, food plots, wildlife management, ranch accounting, and ranch enhancements.

“We take a lot of pride in working with clients before, during, and after the sale.  It’s not just the extra level of service we provide but something we love to do.  It begins by finding the right property that fits our client’s unique and diverse needs.  Transitioning to the sale, getting all the pieces into place, and closing the property is the next step.  Then, working with the client on the ground, helping lay out the property, plugging them in with the right professionals for each project, and ensuring they have the resources to develop the ranch into their dream property truly is the best part.  It’s just what we love to do,” explains Stephen Schwartz, Agent at Hortenstine Ranch Company and QDMA Level 2 Deer Steward.

At Hortenstine Ranch Company, our commitment to clients extends well beyond the closing table. We take immense pride in maintaining lasting relationships, ensuring that our clients feel supported long after their transactions are complete. Events like our ranch gatherings are just one of the many ways we demonstrate this dedication. These gatherings offer a unique opportunity for clients to reconnect, share their experiences, and build a sense of community. Through these events, we aim to foster a network of support, where clients can continue to benefit from our expertise, resources, and the camaraderie of fellow ranch owners. Our goal is to create lasting partnerships that enhance the ranch ownership experience, making it as rewarding and fulfilling as possible.

Casey Berley, an Accredited Land Consultant and long-time Broker Associate with the HRC team sums it up by stating,  “Assisting our clients with goal attainment, resources and sharing best practices for land stewardship are an extension of our passion for the land. This collaboration is a key component of the purpose that I find in land brokerage before, during and after a sale.”
